| Description: Jill Miller, School Social Worker, will be training teams to understand Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, as well as helping teams develop Tier 1 intervention/supports for school-wide implementation - FREE in-person sessions. This three-day training is designed to support new PBIS teams and/or team members in meeting the requirements for Ohio Department of Education Policy on Positive Behavior Interventions and Support, and Restraint and Seclusion (Adopted by the State Board of Education January 15, 2013; Mandatory district adoption 2013-2014 school year). Furthermore, teams may utilize the knowledge and resources gained in this training to create and deliver professional development for buildings serving Pre K-3 students (consistent with requirements of House Bill 318), by November 2022. However, this training is for PK-12 teams. | ||
