Description: The basics to employee misconduct allegations and investigations. This training is a MUST for any new school principal or superintendent. The training will be three hours in length. The training will cover the following topics: Public Records Law Informal vs. Formal discipline Contract or CBA language and how it applies to misconduct Basics to an investigation The planning phase Understanding Due Process Understanding Just and Proper cause for discipline Relevant Board Board Policies Personnel File considerations Official Reprimand letter requirements Misconduct real world examples and simulations to be completed by the participants |
