| Description: A THINKING STUDENT IS AN ENGAGED STUDENT Join us for a fast-paced, enjoyable read focused on helping educators implement lessons that help students go beyond rote memorization and repetitive calculations. This book will introduce fourteen optimal practices for thinking that help create an ideal setting for deep thinking in mathematics. You will read, analyze, and interact with your peers during this eight week book study. • Begin October 15th and conclude on December 10th, 2023 • For eight weeks, we will read and discuss together online in Google Classroom. You will be responsible for posting a response once a week and reply to at least 2 colleagues. • 15 gifted hours will be given to each participant FREE for Districts receiving 0.2 gifted services or $125 for others. • Any questions?
