Description: The fifth in a five-part series, Parents, Families, and Motivation examines how to best leverage the support of parents, guardians, and communities to create a shared urgency and enthusiasm around literacy improvement. In addition, this session explores the difficult but universal struggle with student motivation and how to engage reluctant and resistant learners. Participants will learn relentlessly practical means of engaging with families and piquing student interest in their own literacy experiences. | ||
