| Description: Established in 2019 the Ohio School Safety Center’s goal is to assist local schools and first responders in preventing, preparing for, and responding to threats and acts of violence through a holistic, solutions-based approach to improving school safety. In an effort to provide guidance and resources, the OSSC is collaborating with the North Central Ohio Educational Service Center to provide this educational session. Agenda - OSSC Introductory overview - HB123: Requirements and resources for compliance - Emergency Drills: Planning, implementation, and important due dates - OH/ID Portal: How to navigate the portal with technical assistance. In addition, members of the OSSC team will be available to answer any questions that you may have. |
