See the Sound Visual Phonics is a multi-sensory strategy; a combination of tactile kinesthetic, visual and auditory. It uses 53 hand cues and symbols to teach phonemic awareness and letter-sound correspondence to all level of learners. Participants are actively involved in learning the 53 hand cues and symbols individually and in small groups using various activities. They are observed by the trainers for accuracy of the hand cues and symbols. This strategy works with all level of learners from regular education students to those with various learning needs. It works across grade levels. Suggestions are given on how to incorporate this strategy into daily routines. Participants will be given time to collaborate on ways to use it in their individual classrooms. Trainers can give help and suggestions.
